Mr. Osmansoy is the Chief Executive Officer of The National Investor (TNI), a regional merchant and investment banking group headquartered in Abu Dhabi.
Mr. Osmansoy has nearly 20 years of experience in corporate finance, private equity, structured equity and activist investing. He has been involved in nearly AED 10 billion worth of equity and debt transactions in the GCC and has spearheaded the expansion of TNI throughout the region.
Prior to joining TNI in 2004, Mr. Osmansoy was a Managing Partner at Dexter Capital Group, a London-based investment firm that specializes in strategic block investments in Europe. In this capacity, he was responsible for the origination, evaluation, and execution of activist/special situations investment opportunities. Prior to joining DCG, Mr. Osmansoy was a Senior Investment Officer at J.H. Whitney & Co., a leading US private equity firm, where he focused on late-stage venture capital investments and leveraged buyouts in Europe and where he structured and negotiated various growth capital acquisitions.
Before that, he was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley, where he was a key member of both the equity derivatives and corporate finance groups in New York and London. In this capacity, he structured and placed a number of equity-linked derivative products and worked on various financial buyer transactions including reverse LBOs/IPOs, public & private placements of equity securities and high yield debt offerings.
Mr. Osmansoy also serves as a board director for Colliers International UAE, Depa United Group, and Gulf National Securities Centre.
Mr. Osmansoy graduated from the University of Virginia with a BSc. in Systems Engineering and received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Jean Ayoub, TNI's Chief Financial Officer (CFO), is an 11-year TNI
veteran. He is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience in
accounting, auditing, financial management and reporting. His expertise
extends into joint venture incubation and growth planning, back office
support and corporate governance. Mr. Ayoub has extensive know-how in
diverse industries within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region,
including banking, insurance and technology.
As part of his duties at TNI, Mr. Ayoub's management oversight covers the
overall financial management of the firm, its financial reporting and
transparency. He is also responsible for multiple corporate functions,
including treasury, risk management, asset and liability management, asset
allocation planning and rebalancing, incubation and support, as well as
proprietary investments and post-acquisition activities. This is in addition to
overseeing all back office support functions.
Mr. Ayoub contributes to the long-term strategic planning of the firm by
playing an active role as a member of the Management Committee
(Mancom). He is also the Secretary of the TNI Board of Directors, and serves
on the Board of several subsidiaries and associate companies related to TNI
as well as on the Investment Committee of some of TNI's funds.
Prior to joining TNI, Mr. Ayoub held the position of Director of Finance for a
leading IT group encompassing trading and manufacturing activities in the
UAE, where he established the accounting, financial, reporting and corporate
governance functions of the group. He started his career as an auditor in
Beirut, Lebanon in the early 1980s.
Mr. Ayoub holds a business degree from the Ministry of Education in
Lebanon and a MBA degree in Investment & Finance from the University of
Hull in the UK.

Mr. Coovadia has been involved in emerging markets corporate finance and private equity for over 12 years having actively advised multinational corporations, governments and family conglomerates in South Africa, sub-Saharan Africa, India, Malaysia, and the GCC. Mr. Coovadia was the Managing Partner and Founder of Invescape, a niche corporate finance and private equity boutique operating out of Dubai and Johannesburg, South Africa.
Prior to moving to Dubai, Mr. Coovadia was the Managing Partner and co-founder of iCapital, a South African-based private equity joint venture with one of the leading global insurers, Liberty Life International plc.
Prior to iCapital, Mr. Coovadia worked with UBS Warburg in London and South Africa, ending his tenure as Director of Corporate Finance and M&A. He led the advisory team on some of the benchmark corporate finance transactions in emerging markets including the first hostile takeover in South Africa and the country's first privatization and largest foreign direct investment. He is regarded as an emerging market private equity and corporate finance advisory specialist and serves on the boards of several companies.
Mr. Coovadia is a qualified Chartered Accountant who served his articles with KPMG and he also holds both undergraduate and post graduate degrees in Finance and Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.

Dr. Hadizad is the Managing Director of TNI's Asset Management Division. He has over 17 years of extensive experience in various aspects of financial management, encompassing a variety of international financial instruments as part of sizable fund portfolios and special purpose vehicles.
He has managed large teams of quantitative analysts, proprietary traders, investment professionals, fundamental/technical analysts, fund managers and execution traders. He has also had direct and indirect responsibility for the production of profit and loss accounts and teams of accountants engaged in the production of audited accounts for a variety of financial vehicles.
Prior to joining TNI, Dr. Hadizad directly traded and managed investments in a broad range of settings. Amongst these have been Unit Trusts comprised of Equities, Equity Derivatives and other Equity related products, including credit instruments and OTC structured products. He has also defined and set mandates for a variety of corporate vehicles and determined the strategic direction of divisional and institutional investments.
In senior roles at well known investment banks, such as HSBC and Paribas and large investment institutions, such as Pioneer Investments, he has had a broad range of responsibilities which include financial oversight and control. Dr Hadizad holds several qualifications including a PhD in theoretical Physics and spent several years researching in computational solid state physics. He is a Member of Institute of Investment Management and Research.

Mr. Habib has more than 20 years of experience in global real estate investments, asset management, mortgage finance and trading. Prior to joining The National Investor as Director of Real Estate, Mr. Habib was Portfolio Manager at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority's (ADIA) Real Estate Department. During his 11 years at ADIA, he was responsible for developing global investment strategies, sourcing deals, acquiring, managing and disposing of investments.
He managed the institution's global direct and indirect real estate portfolios including closed ended and open ended funds investments as well as real estate securities portfolios. Additionally, Mr. Habib was the hotels portfolio manager and served as member of the board of all the investing companies. As the hotel portfolio manager, he managed the renovation of over 1,000 rooms for landmark hotels in London, Berlin and Istanbul. Mr. Habib also serves as a board director for Colliers International, UAE.
Prior to ADIA, Mr. Habib worked at Republic National Bank of New York - New York, as Assistant Vice President for 8 years securitizing and trading mortgage portfolios. Mr. Habib holds a BSc in Finance from Indiana University and is registered for the CFA Level III exam.

Yahya is the Head of Private Equity for TNI, and Senior Executive Officer for TNI Dubai Ltd. He is also the fund manager for TNI's flagship private equity product - the TNI Growth Capital Fund. He has over 10 years of experience in private equity and mergers & acquisitions in New York at leading financial services firms such as Jefferies & Company, GE Capital and Credit Suisse First Boston.
Previously he was at GE Capital's $6 billion private equity group where he focused on leveraged buyouts and growth capital investments in telecommunications, media, entertainment and technology sectors. He led transaction execution process, including drafting Information Memoranda, Term Sheets, Letters of Intent, Stock and Note Purchase Agreements, Registration Rights and Inter-Creditor Agreements, Side Letters and Definitive Merger Agreements, in conjunction with legal team.
His transaction experience spans several transaction types: late and early stage private equity and venture capital, distressed and turnaround investing, buyside and sellside advisory, restructuring, equity, investment-grade debt and high yield financings. Representative transactions include $200 million sale of Brooktrout to Excel Switching Corporation, $120 million purchase of N2Broadband, $80 million purchase of Goldpocket, and $85 million purchase of Skystream Networks by Tandberg Television ASA, and $35 million sale of InterCon Systems to Amphenol Corporation.
Yahya was Board Observer on the board of four portfolio companies: Buildnet, Dotcast, Intertainer and Vitessa. He actively engaged with management team in development of business strategy, processes and infrastructure. He also undertook restructuring responsibilities for distressed portfolio accounts, and helped companies restructure their operations, strategically reposition the business, unwind non-core acquisitions and re-capitalize their balance sheet.
He is currently the Chairman of NAS, a UAE based provider of third party insurance claims processing solutions.
Yahya holds an MBA with Honors from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

Mr. Ugarov has over 10 years of experience in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, privatizations, corporate finance and strategy consulting.
He currently manages our Riyadh office and is responsible for TNI's operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has been involved in the Saudi market for the past four years, initially with Financial Transaction House, a boutique investment banking firm based in Jeddah, and more recently covering Saudi Arabia as part of TNI's investment banking team.
During his work in Saudi Arabia, Mr. Ugarov was responsible for execution of capital market and advisory transactions. Mr. Ugarov led two rights issues of publicly-traded firms and an IPO of a local family business as well as a number of private placement transactions.
Prior to working in Saudi Arabia, Mr. Ugarov worked at the Mergers & Acquisitions Group of Banc of America Securities in the United States. Mr. Ugarov also worked in the Corporate Finance Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Tanzania with responsibility for privatizations and corporate finance advisory in the East Africa region. Mr. Ugarov began his career at William Kent International, an international strategy consulting firm based in Washington DC where he worked on projects in China, Russia and Latin America.
Mr. Ugarov holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Amer Halawi, in his capacity as Director at The National Investor and member of the TNI Management Committee, has operational responsibility for Investment Research. He brings to the role more than 12 years experience in European equity markets.
Prior to joining TNI, Mr. Halawi worked at Goldman Sachs from 2000 to 2004. The most recent role he held in the Paris office, as Executive Director on the Pan-European Sales desk, consisted in participating in the firm's global push to distribute derivative products to traditional, French Equity investors. Prior to that Mr. Halawi spearheaded the firm's Global Products' distribution strategy to French institutional investors, first out of London and then out of Paris, where he moved to set up the French Global Products desk.
From 1995 to 2000 Mr. Halawi was based in Paris, working as equity analyst for different European banks. He started as generalist French market analyst, and progressively specialized in the French Capital/Intermediate Goods industry. In 2000, he appeared in the annual Reuters survey, as one of the Top 10 European analysts in his sector.
In addition to his professional experience, Mr. Halawi has also served as a guest lecturer to graduating finance students at the Ecole Superieure de Commerce to Paris (ESCP).
Mr. Halawi holds a Masters in Management from the ESCP and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.

Dr. Janet is responsible for all legal matters at The National Investor, which she joined in July 1996. In that capacity she advises board members and executive management on legal and commercial risks related to all business activities, their potential impact, and suggests mitigating actions. She contributes strategically to the future growth and activities of the company (such as identifying and selecting a list of preferred suppliers of external legal services & negotiate rates), as well as discusses and recommends legal strategy should litigation arise.
She managed the establishment of the UAE's first locally based real estate investment fund and continues to participate in the establishment of other investment funds, collective investment schemes, and third party asset management vehicles, both onshore and offshore.
In addition to her work as an attorney for TNI, she has been an instructor of various Business Law courses at Al Bayan Institute, and Al Manar Institute of Learning, Abu Dhabi.
Prior to joining TNI, Dr. Shakiba was working with the law firm of McClintock, Weston et. al. in Los Angeles, California where she was a senior associate attorney specializing in business law representing major oil industry clients such as Texaco, Exxon and Mobil in a variety of matters, including contract negotiation, arbitration and settlement of claims. She also worked on major real estate development projects, representing contractors, sub contractors and owners, in both the government and private sector, specializing in construction and environmental related litigation.
Dr. Shakiba holds a Bachelor's of Arts Degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, USA.
